George E. "Sonny" Crespo

George Crespo Obituary

CRESPO, GEORGE E. "SONNY", 74, of Pembroke Pines, died Saturday, March 20, 2004. He passed away gently, the way he lived. He loved life right to the end. Sonny was a true man of kindness whose greatest love was his children, family & friends. Sonny was a musician from way back, teaching himself to play drums when he was a teenager. He first broke into the music scene in New York, then moved to Florida to settle down and play club dates around Dade & Broward while he raised his children. Sonny was an entertainer at heart and whether on stage or on the dance floor doing the "cha-cha", you'd always see that ever-present smile shining through. No thoughts or words can express how he will forever be loved and missed. He is survived by his sons, Edward, Robert and Richard; his daughter, Elaine; brothers, Louie and Georgie; grandchildren, Maureen and Nina; and his ever-loving, ever-present, always-barking little dog, Tuffy. Services will be on Monday, March 29, 2004. Please call (954) 436-6554, for information. To visit this Guest Book Online, go to www.herald.com/obituaries.

My birthday buddy, I will always miss my dance partner & your "Oh be nice!" comments in class but I know you'll be kicking up the beat dancing in heaven. xoxo Leslie
