I met Romero thru Regine and Roger Choukroun back in the days Woody Weiser and Donald Lefton owned the Grand Bay Hotel and Regine's atop the only Mobil 5 star hotel in Miami. Homero instantly became a trustworthy and loyal friend. So sorry that we lost touch after the hotel was sold and later demolished. He was an amazing man who touched many lives and his joie de vivre, and humor, will always be with the people who knew him well. To his beautiful family, my most sincere condolences.

During many years we had the priviledge of knowing and serving Mr. De la Torre his family and friends in our restaurante. Always a gentelman. We will be missing him dearly. Rest in peace Homero. From de family of the Caffe Abbracci to de La Torre family.
