My father greatly admired Ira. He was a very interesting soul who had a midas touch and did it with style.

Helen, I was sorry to read of your father's death in the Miami Herald. My father always admired your father's cleverness in business and interesting life. It was by chance that I opened to that page on that day. It's been so many years since we spoke, but you were a large part of my childhood, with the Brownies and high school, that you are fondly in my thoughts.

To Ann and Irene and Mom Shirley. I saw the obituary today in the L.A. Times. It was an unusual coincidence for me to even see it at all. Sorry for your loss. I remember your dad Ira from the days in the Hollywood Hills and hanging out with Irene and Ann in junior high. My mom and Shirely used to go to Las Vegas together in those years. Hope eveyone is well.

We will miss Uncle Ira's telephone calls and optimistic view of life, and what a life he had doing things others can only dream of.
From Grove Street to Mexico, Monaco, Spain, Texas, and California, maybe where he is now is just another stop. Did he drive there?
He lived a full and colorful 95 years.
We'll miss him.
