Irwin Ennis Obituary
Dr. Ennis generously donated his time as a dentist, serving the community of Miami-Dade County at Lindsey Hopkins. He was also a devoted volunteer at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, where he shared his time alongside his beloved therapy dogs, Molly and Beau.
In his leisure time, Dr. Ennis cherished being with his family. He enjoyed continued education at the University of Miami, hosting dinner and dance parties with their extensive list of friends, boating and fishing, and was a fan of all Miami sports teams. An accomplished tennis player, he was known for regularly defeating opponents 20 years his junior.
Dr. Ennis is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; his children, Dr. Bruce Ennis, and Wendy Ennis-Volcy, his four grandchildren, Sam, Sarah, Hannah, and Haley.
Donations in his memory may be made to your favorite animal charities including the ASPCA, or the Humane Society.

Dear Ennis Family-I am saddened by your loss. I spent many years at Salvadore Park on the losing end of tennis matches with Irwin. It was the time we spent before and after our matches which is memorable. He was very kind with a wonderful personality.

As members of OLLI and the Saturday group which met for years, we were so fortunate to have Irwin always making us feel comfortable as well as his great sense of humor. We will always remember him fondly.

Dear Ennis Family, sincere condolences on the loss of Dr. Ennis. I was fortunate to be one of his patients in the 1980s and later was a classmate of Wendy's at UM Law. May his memory be a blessing.
