"Waxy" and my dad (Richard Kahn) were great friends at the Jockey Club, for many, many years. They played a lot of tennis, had a lot of laughs together, and Waxy succeeded my dad as president of the Condo Association (not an easy job, there). After my mother moved out of the Jockey, we continured to run into him in neighborhood restaurants, over the years. He was always so kind and interested in my kids and how they were growing up. We will miss him, and we wish his family and Muriel comfort in the many happy memories that they surely have.
