Janet Evelyn Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, JANET EVELYN, passed away in the early morning Wed., Feb. 6, 2008 at the age of 70, ending her long battle with illnesses. Janet was a devoted wife and best friend of "Lefty'' Lester Fairfield for 50 years. "When you think of Janet remember her with a smile and with love. If you shed a tear, let it be because you miss her." A loving mom to Eric (Kristi) and daughter Robin, who preceded her in death. She was a very loving ''Mamaw'' to her 5 grandkids, Jeffrey, Joey, Cory, Cody and Natlie. Janet is also survived by her sister, Ann and numerous relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Sunday, February, 10, 2008 with a funeral service beginning at 11:00am, Monday, February 11, 2008 at Stanfill Funeral Homes, with burial immediately following at Woodlawn Park South Cemetery.
