Merry Christmas Dad. Always your favorite time of year. Me too. I've been looking through Gan Gan's cookbook. Making a few of her recipes. It's funny to me. Cook in a medium oven until almost done. I'm so glad you encouraged her to write it. I think of all the things she saw during her life time. How I wish you could still be us to share all the things we are now seeing. It's not perfect by any means but it's part of our lifetime. I Love You and miss you. Merry Christmas Dad.

Hi Uncle Milton! We missed you last night but I know you were with me. I took AJ fishing- even baited the hooks myself! With live bait! Everyone was so impressed with my skills and I proudly told them of our days fishing in the Keys and how your rule was I had to bait my own hook! So, thank you.

Hi Uncle Milton,
Tonight is Christmas Eve and it's hard to believe that tomorrow will be our third Christmas without you.
I find comfort knowing that you are always there when I need you but I miss you more and more all the time.
Thank you for loving me like your own. I'm a very lucky girl to have you and Aunt MaryLee as my godparents and I want you to know that!

Hi Dad. Just want to say thanks for all the lessons you taught us. Everyday something comes up and I think of you and have a good idea of what you would do in that situation. Hi Dad. We're back from Miami. You know that saying, "If everything is going smoothly then you are over looking something". I do believe you were with us this Christmas. You saw what happened. But we got it together, just like you taught us to do.
AJ is great. Such a good baby. The Harte's are a great family and have been such a comfort to us. Jeff and his family are such treasures. You chose your friends well.
I hope Mom will slow down a little bit.
She needs to re-connect with her friends. Please help her to do that if you can. I know Christmas is your favorite time of the year - Mine too.

I just learned today, April 22, that my former "boss" and friend had died. Milton Lewis was good to his associates and employees, always considerate and willing to help. He was a fine man, one who was respected throughout the cable industry. It is hard for me to believe that Milton has passed away. My deepest sympathy to Mary Lee and the family. May the peace of the Lord be with Milton and his family.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mrs. Lewis, Lee and all of the family. I had the privilege of getting to know and working for Milton when he owned Custom Engine Service. I always looked up to and admired what he was able to accomplish through his
hard work ethic and self taught business savvy. I truly felt honored to be invited into the Lewis home on a number of occasions. Lee, even though we don’t hang out together on
weekends I feel like we developed a lasting friendship when we worked together and I
feel confident that one of Milton’s greatest sources of pride was having you as a son.

I regret that I learned only today about the passing of John Milton Lewis.
I worked with “Milt,” (That’s what everybody called him.), since he joined the-then huge and sprawling Wometco Enterprises, Inc.
in 1971 to head and build our cable-TV business. I worked directly for Milt from about 1983 through 1986.
I always admired Milt for his savvy and expertise in becoming one of the big players in the then-growing cable TV business, and for his self-taught skill and mastery of the complex corporate financial skills involved in his work.
But mostly, I remember Milt, (Yes, and loved him too.), for the fairness and generosity with which he treated all who worked for him. His example of being a really decent boss will live on, I’m sure, with all of us who were lucky to be at his side during those exciting years.
My profound condolences to his wife, Mary Lee and all of their family.

I was privileged to work with Milton for several years, until Wometco Cable was sold in the early '90s. I am proud to say that Milt was my friend and mentor. I am deeply saddened at his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Lee and the rest of Milt's family, extended family and associates.
