It would be nice for us if Jack was still with us. He was a blessing, so thankful he was sound in the faith, patiently in love explaining the clarity of the gospel. So many deceivers out there, he held his doctrine up to the light and was willing to defend it in sincerity and truth, with sound speech that could not be condemned.
I miss Jack. But thankful for his ministry, praying that I too might bring a sweet savour, aroma, fragrance of Christ to those who are perishing.

My long-time friend Jack's greatest joy was telling everyone he could reach about the love of Christ and the guarantee of heaven for all who place their trust in Christ alone, not our good works, through his death on the cross in payment for all our sins, past, present and future. Now Jack is enjoying eternity with his precious Lord and Savior and all his Christian family and friends who have gone before. Jack's family has comfort in that knowledge. See you later, Jack.

I only know Jack from his online blog. He's a real winner and will stand in the winners circle in heaven I'm sure!
I'm the one who wrote him and told him what the Marines say; Once a Marine, always a Marine!
I encouraged him to change his email title to retired preacherman rather than xpreacherman.
The way I see it, once a preacherman-soulwinner, always a soulwinner until the day you die!
And I believe this of Mr Jack Weaver!!
Praise God for Jack's witness for the LORD!

Trying to think of a few short words to remember and honor Dad is a difficult task...
He was simple yet complex.
He was brilliant yet humble.
He was demanding yet understanding.
He was a strict disciplinarian yet fair... well, most of the time!
He had high expectations yet was compassionate when we failed.
He was a teacher of many yet was always willing to be a discerning student.
He was a leader yet never let the power go to his head.
He was dedicated to his job yet found the time to attend our sporting events and family trips.
He was always anxious to get back to his home yet kept everyone waiting if given the opportunity to share the gospel with a stranger.
He had a great sense of humor – especially cynical humor, yet knew when and how to be serious.
He loved saying he was “jack of all trades, master of none”, yet we knew better, as he was master of just about anything he set his mind to.
He was a man of honor and deserved credit and respect yet always said he was just a sinner saved by grace.
Most of all, he became one of my best friends and I will greatly miss our conversations. It will be impossible to fill this void, however, I am grateful to God for the time that I had with him and know that I will see him again.

I met Jack as a student at the Florida Bible college. I later worked for him with his pest control company. Over the years we became very good friends. Today we are poorer and heaven is richer. Jack was straight on the gospel and very enthusiastic about it.

Dear Jan and Family Members, Thank you for your e-mail about Jack, a very special colleague at Ransom Everglades School when he was director of the computer program and I was director of development. He was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise spiritually barren work place; a Holy Spirit-filled man who inspired many of us, especially when our needs were greatest. Blessings to you all.

When I think of Jack, "good and faithful servant" comes to my mine. It was such a pleasure to be a member of his church in the 70's knowing you would be hearing God's word in every service. May the memories of Jack comfort the family through this difficult time.

I met Pastor Jack online back when I blogged regularly about world events and my faith (Ms. Green - Thinking Out Loud). He was one of the most upbeat, encouraging individuals I ever met, and reading his blog each day, and conversing with him online, regularly encouraged me in my own walk. I have no doubt he is enjoying his new home with the Savior he loved so much. My prayers are for his family and friends who, I'm sure, will miss him greatly. Praise our God that all of us who know Him will see Jack again someday - I for the first time. I look forward to that day. Thank you for emailing me to let me know he had passed on. I have prayed for him many times through the years, and can now in my prayers thank God that Jack is in heaven, suffering no more, enjoying his eternal home.

I met Jack through his blog site some years ago and considered him a personal friend through our Lord Jesus Christ. I will miss Jack. He was a strong voice for the Lord in a blogosphere that so often is a place of contention and ill will. Rest in peace, Jack! Your tireless work for His Kingdom glorified the Lord and reached many.

Thanks Jack and sympathies to all the family. We thank Jack for ex-preacherman, its where I found the true biblical gospel of grace, which lead me to the Tom Cucuzza's and the Ralph Arnold Yankees. You are a lucky man Jack to now be with your lord and Saviour, we are now waiting for our turn. Thanks Shirley for the loan of your wonderful faithful husband.

Jack was a great friend to me. He was kind, humorous, intelligent, and without ego. He was a man's man and always had the courage to witness to whomever he met. I will miss this unique man very much.

My deepest sympathy to the Weaver family for their loss. I don't need to say that this is only a temporary one for you all and for me as we know that we will be all reunited one day as the Body of Christ in the place He has prepared for us. May God bless you all during this difficult but joyful (for Jack) time. Pastor Weaver is with the Lord and is free of the bondage that comes with the human condition thanks to the salvation we all have in Jesus Christ!

Our sympathies and prayers go out to the Weaver family. The body of Christ has lost a great soul winner and champion of the clear gospel. Thank you Pastor Weaver for your godly influence and unwavering dedication to the Word of God and the gospel of Christ. When I remember you I will always remember Philippians 1:27, "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;" That was Pastor Weaver. He lived out the gospel, and he unashamedly proclaimed it. You will be missed.

I knew Jack for only these last 6 months through Expreacherman.com. But these last 6 months are where I truly discovered the assurance of salvation and eternal life through the finished worked of Jesus Christ alone. I was not only at the end of my rope when I met Jack, but had lost all hope not knowing what the next day would bring.
Jack was able to lovingly help me see the true heart of God and His incredible gift of salvation that is FREE for the taking to whosoever simply believes. I look forward now to heaven where I was terrified before. I hope to bump into Jack in heaven and thank him personally for taking the initiative to introduce me to the true Savior Jesus Christ. The Way, the Life and the Truth! I pray for God's Grace to continue through Expreacherman.com and that many more souls will be set free.
The last verse Jack pointed me to was Titus 3:5a Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us
I will never forget this verse.

Jack meant a lot to me, most especially spiritually speaking. His courage to speak the truth in love about hard things, his defense of the gospel, helped so many people in so many places all over the world. I can't imagine the harvest that will come as I know many of us have sown in tears with even our own family. Many are now finishing by the Spirit, no longer in bondage, no longer bewitched, because of Jack's ministry. Yet others, have heard the clear gospel and have believed the simplicity that is in Christ. What a reunion that day will be. I know you all miss him deeply and you were with him. I miss Jack very much, but I don't grieve as one who has no hope, I know we will see each other soon when we too are absent from the body, and present with the Lord.

I will miss my friend. In 1972 Jack Weaver lead me to Christ. I was 18 years old. Six months earlier I had lost my brother in Vietnam and I hated God. That night 42 years ago seems like yesterday. At one point I asked Jack if salvation was a free gift with no strings attached. He said, "Praise the Lord you understand it!" A year later my dad died. Jack assumed the role of my advisor and confidant. He was the best man at my wedding 31 years ago. Since my Barbi died five months ago, I have talk to him often on the phone. I will miss his advice and his laugh. All my love to Shirley and Weaver clan. Thank you for sharing him with us!

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants. Well done, good and faithful servant. Jack served as my pastor in my early 20's. His passion for the gospel was the focus of his ministry. His loss will be great on earth, but his presence in heaven is joyous.
