For the past six years, he enjoyed his new role as grandfather. He moved to Miami in 1976 and was currently employed as tax manager of Terremark Worldwide, Inc. He also had been a senior tax manager at Price Waterhouse in Miami and served as the CFO of Contender Boats in Homestead. Jonathan was one of a kind. I got to know him through our diverse group of friends who gather in the Everglades around the first of the year. No one could tell a better story around the campfire! He brought his considerable knowledge and curiosity to any converation. He didn't always participate in all the activities during the day because he would go to work, but he made the effort to drive back down to be part of the group at nite. I will miss his laughter and wisdom.

My deepest sympathies to Gloria and his family...

My sincere sympathy to all of Jon's family. I knew Jon and the other Gunns all through elementary and high school, and have many fond memories of times spent with him. Even though we lost touch over the years, I am saddened by his passing. May fond memories bring you peace.

I worked with Jon at Terremark and I can honestly say I've never met a more avid hockey and Red Sox fan. His eyes would light up every time he mentioned the word Boston. He will be missed.

Jon was a mentor and a friend to me for over 20 years. I failed to keep in touch the last few years and I will always regret that. We are all diminished by his not being here. May your memories of him be fond and your pain of loss be lessened bythe knowledge of how much he was loved.
