I was blessed to have a number of friends during my time as a circuit judge in Miami...Joe Nadler, Leonard Rivkind, Margarita Esquirroz, Stuart Simons and so many others. As time passes and I reflect on what a wonderful experience it was to work with such devoted public servants...Rest in peace my friends...

Dearest Fran and family. I'm sorry to hear of Joe's passing.
He was larger than life. You may not remember me but I used to work at the Rec park pool in Highlands in the early 8o's right after it opened and I often snuck away to play a couple sets of tennis with you and Joe. Have thought of you two almost every summer when I'd swing a racquet. It was always a pleasure. Sending love and good thoughts to you and the family! Peace

Joe was a lively, friendly, thoughtful man, thoroughly engaged in the world around him. It was fun to be his tennis partner and fun to join him in long conversations about life and living. He was very generous and would make you a Hebrew National salami sandwich before you could ever think about asking for one! His passing leaves an empty spot in my life and the lives of many others.

The Judge was a legend in Highlands-I have fond memories of him coming into the Sports Page and bringing me pumpernickel bread. He will be greatly missed.
