Dear Family members:

What an extraordinary woman - both
personally and professionally..Your
mother and grandmother..evokes the expression that my grandmother brought to my mind " On the shoulders of giants! " Their generation produced a level of human
being that is becoming rare - people
of character and heart with high
values - how lucky you were to have
such as person - give you a wonderful foundation in life...what a living legacy to pass on. May you be comforted in the love that you gave her to the last...She is in heaven and smiling on you...My heart and prayers are with you.

She was a second Mom to me.Once upon returning from a 2-day hobo ride on a freight train with her son Ersaid, I feared the wrath of my parents; she said "what a wonderful way to travel!"

She was an inspiration. Though I only met her a few times, I know her spirit through her children and grandchildren. A great soul. She is missed.

"La voz de la memoria nos redime del pozo donde las piedras caen en el silencio espeso. Su timbre nos recuerda que también fuimos piedras que en el pozo cayeron haciéndose silencio..."

Desde mi lejano recuerdo, y para todos pensando en el futuro...
