I think I first met Mark in 1962 at Ojus Elementary...First Grade??...but maybe it wasn't until 4th grade at Highland Oaks Elementary. Mark was always "high energy" and a lot of fun....he was very popular! His nickname, "Creature" seemed to stick throughout High School. After elementary school (1968), we all got bussed to an overcrowded JFK Junior High School. We both met new friends and lost touch. I had heard through the grapevine that Mark had atteneded USF and was very popular. I last saw Mark two years ago at the Thai House restaurant in NMB eating Sushi at the Sushi Bar (not like the old days when the NMB crowd ate at Corky's, My Pie, Ranch House, Marcello's Pizza, Figuero's, Meyers Pizza, or hung out at the 163rd street shopping center before it was a mall). We briefly spoke and he seemed very happy.
