I worked for Martin Kahn in the early 1980s. It was my first position as a legal assistant. He was kind, patient and taught me well. I took the valuable lessons I was given all through my entire career. I have fond memories of my time in his practice. My heart goes out to his family for their loss.

I worked for Martin Kahn as a Law Clerk in 1972 while he was Attorney for the City of North Miami. He was a gentleman as well as knowledgeable in all aspects of the law.
He will be missed as well as respected.

I tried many cases before Judge Kahn when he was in the Criminal Division of the Circuit Court. He was an excellent trial judge. He also treated his regularly assigned Assistant State Attorneys and Assistant Public Defenders like family. He would periodically have baking and cooking contests, enlisting other judges to rank the submissions. He was a true gentleman.
