For Mazie's Family,
What can I say, for in my heart I have lost another sister. She was my Pal and Confidant whereas together we worked out many problems. Big and Small..
We planned many trips together, trips we took and trips we dreamed of taking in the future.
I have treasured our relationship throughout the years. I will forever miss the many laughs we had together.
I loved your smiling face and happy, healthy attitude towards everything.
I truly miss you.
A special word to Jim: Mazie had really grown fond of you & she relied on you more than you know, she loved you. As you know, We talked !!
My dear Mazie & Gene, I know you are soaring with the Angels so don't be lonely.
Farewell for now. Love Cuna
I miss you both more than you'll ever know, as we all do..

To all the Family of Mazie Mon Goy.
When Gene left us I was hoping that Mazie would stick around a little longer for us to enjoy her company for at least a few more years but, when I remember her sitting in the Hospice room with Gene after he passed on, I realized who was more important in her life and that she wanted to be where he was. I am very happy to have known both Gene and Mazie in my lifetime I loved both of them dearly.
With Mazie,s passing I have lost my favorite food taster for she loved everything I cooked or baked. The only time I realized I wasn't her friend is when we played cards, for then I was her enemy like we all were. I also would like to thank Jim Powell for all the love and care he gave to make Mazie's last few months on this earth a little bit easier, he is a true hero in my eyes.
I hope both of you, Gene and Mazie had a great time when you met again, which happens to be your Wedding Anniversary.
For ever in my heart,
Love, Bernhard.

Janet, Mike and Stephen,
As you know, Gene was best man at our wedding. One night Gene came over and told us that he had just met the girl he was going to marry. Gene said that we (Betty & Wally) would not know her because he had to wait until she grew up. We always considered them very dear friends. You have my deepest sympathy and we will miss her.

Janet, Jim & Townshend. I'm so sorry for your loss but now both of your mother's are in a better place and not suffering anymore. Jim, you really stepped up the the plate and I know Janet really appreciates your care of her mom. Townshend, your grandmother loved and was very proud of you, too. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Janet, I wrote to you when your father passed away and it is with great sadness that I see your mother has passed away. I told you I worked for them at Burger Castle when I was 16 years old in 1965 and I never forgot the work ethics they taught me and they were a true love story. May they both rest in peace and be together for eternity.
