Michael Berger Obituary
March 1, 1989 - May 11, 2024
Denver, Colorado - Michael Berger, who grew up in Miami and lived in Denver, Colorado, passed away on May 11. Michael was 35 years old. He was loved by all who knew him. He went to Miami Palmetto High School where he loved playing lacrosse. Michael went to Florida State University to study finance. He belonged to Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity and his fraternity friends were his brothers. Michael began to work at Raymond James Headquarters in St. Petersburg one week after graduation. He was excited to be a part of the company. Michael first served as a compliance advisor and would travel throughout the Midwest. He later served as a business analyst and then as an equity research analyst. '
Michael went out on his own a few years later to further apply his exceptional skills in the industry. Michael is survived by his parents, David and Robin Berger, his sister, Melissa Berger, and his dear girlfriend, Nicole Gruszka.
Michael lit up any room he walked into. He was a force of joy and empathy for the people he cared about.
Donations in Michael's memory should be made to Bet Shira Congregation, 7500 SW 120 St. Pinecrest FL 33156 where his funeral will be Friday at 11 am.

Words cannot express my sorrow for the loss of Michael. He was a mensch in every sense of the word since the day I met him at Florida State. I had never seen him without a smile on his face. He was always the most encouraging and upbeat person, and continuously demonstrated that over the next 15+ years I had the blessing of knowing him.
