Murray Gaines Obituary

GAINES, MURRAY, of Aventura, passed away April 17, 2008, one week shy of his 92nd birthday, Born in Manhattan, Mr. Gaines had made his home in South Florida since early 1970's. Murray was a successful real estate broker both in New York and Miami. An Avid health nut, Murray loved to play tennis, do crosswords puzzles, travel, and danced like a professional. He and his wife Mira were introduced by a mutual friend, which resulted in a beautiful marriage of 33 years. He was considered by his friends and family to be a gentleman and a gentle man. Beloved husband of Mira, devoted father of David Gaines, loving stepfather to Phyllis & Frank Bramson, adored grandfather of Natalie, Dana, and Heather, cherished great grandfather of Zachary, Andi, and Jacob. Funeral services were held April 20, 2008. Donations in Mr. Gaines's memory may be made to the Diabetes Research Institute or a charity of choice. I had the great honor to work with your dad at David Jenkins & Assocs., in the 70s. He was such a wonderful person and a real "gentleman". He spoke of you often. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
