Paula Naaman Obituary

NAAMAN, PAULA of Miami Florida passed away peacefully at the age of 53 in her family home on February 7, 2018. Born on January 23, 1965 at Mercy Hospital to Fred and Patricia (Barry) Naaman, Paula came into this world a "blue baby" with congenital heart defects and a very poor prognosis, neither of which ever stopped her from not only living life to the fullest, but also encouraging others with her fearlessness, unbreakable spirit, and unbelievable positive attitude. After graduating from Miami Killian high school, Paula went on to get her RNBS at FIU: becoming a nurse gave Paula one more outlet for her kind, nurturing nature. Traveling was one of Paula's top priorities. In Paula's eyes, the world, as vast as it is, was just a small neighborhood of people from all walks of life to meet and sometimes share life-long friendships with. Paula loved and cared for all. Paula's determination to live life to the fullest was only topped by her dedication to family. She always found a way to attend every birthday, graduation, wedding, etc., neither distance nor inconvenience could stop her. To Paula, family was life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Pediatric Congenital Heart Association. Memorial mass will be held on Monday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church 7377 sw 64th street, South Miami. Celebration-of-life meal to follow.
