Phyllis Oglesby Obituary

OGLESBY, PHYLLIS, 76 yrs., old, loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2006. She was born in North Carolina. After 25 years of service she retired from J.C. Penny's as an Accounting Department Manager at Dadeland Mall. Predeceased by husband, Hewell; son, Eric & brother, Buddy Jr. Andrews. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela, Laura, Melissa (Alfred) and son, Randy (Linda). Also survived by eight grandchildren, Glenn (Laura), Chad (Iris), Heather Brittany, Brandi, Ryan, Daniel, Joseph and four great-grandchildren, Arejay, Madeline, Zachary & Kyle; sisters, Henrietta Thomas and Hazel Decker. She was a kind and generous woman who loved her family deeply. Services will be held at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Funeral Home at 11655 SW 117 Ave. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2006. from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 5th at 12:00 p.m. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association. Mommy you will be missed so much by so many. I went full circle with you. You changed me and taught me to tie my shoes, and in the end I did the same for you. I loved the two years I took care of you and miss you and daddy more than ever. Your loving daughter Melissa.
