Ramon Feliu Obituary
A gifted trial lawyer and later a respected family mediator for both the State and Miami-Dade County Courts, David was a steadfast voice for countless women and children seeking protection and fairness. His professional life was marked by integrity, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to doing what was right, leaving an enduring impact on the many lives he touched.
David was a proud graduate of the University of Miami and the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where he laid the foundation for his distinguished legal career. Guided throughout his life by his deep faith, he was a devoted parishioner of Coral Gables Congregational Church.
He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Horace; sister-in-law, Seida; niece, Sarah; and many cherished cousins from the Feliu, Leyva, Peña, and Santiesteban families. The quintessential toastmaster and life of the party – a consummate raconteur, he touched the lives of his many friends whose lives were brightened by his kindness, warmth, generosity of spirit, sharp humor, and fierce commitment to justice. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
May his memory be a blessing and a comfort to all who mourn his passing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coral Gables Congregational Church or the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

For many years, at least once a week, David and I would run into each other in the lobby or elevators of the Miami-Dade County Courthouse. David was always working hard, on his way to or from a mediation, but he always had the time to say hello and have a cheerful conversation. David was a true public servant whose intelligence, temperament and work ethic were a great asset as a mediator. Wishing you all peace and comfort,
