Rick Globus....a mixture of exceptionally generous under that gruff exterior, a one of a kind, I thought this old acquaintance since teenage years in F.I....well, I thought he would thrive forever!
all my sympathies to your son Morty, and brother Steve and Randy.

Ric, you'll never know how I miss you!
We were really close in the 70's, working together, having fun together on Fire Island, Pennsylvania, or wherever! I was sometimes referred to as the fourth brother, as you can see in the Media Factory photo I uploaded. I just can't believe that one minute we were exchanging comments on Facebook, and the next, exchanging messages of condolence. So many people here, from all over the world will miss Ric.
And Steve, Ron, and Dorothy, with whom I shared many enjoyable times, we will all miss Ric.

In the earliest days, Ric was like a big brother to me. Later we became friends and I will always cherish his steadfast friendship. Although I haven't seen him in person in many years, we re-eatablished our friendship over facebook and in correspondences. Dear Ric, you and your whole family touched my life in so many important ways - and I will forever hold you in my heart. With live and affection, Karen Fisher, Chapel Hill, NC

My deepest sympathies to the Globus family, and all the friends left behind. We met up last in Portland, Maine a few years ago where I was performing my rekindled light show and seeing Ric made years melt away...I was so looking forward to seeing him Friday. I will always miss you, my friend! Requiescat In Pace, Ric!

Heartfelt condolences to all the Globus kin. Ric was a wonderful caring person and a great friend. My memories of him are all so fond. Clamming in the bay with his Dad and making gallons of clam chowder to blasting our eardrums out in NY listening to Cream. He will be missed. Please keep posting his artwork it will always make me smile and think of him.

I went up to the Tibetan Monastery here in Woodstock, NY and did a lamp lighting for you my dear friend Ric to have a new adventure filled with Bliss. I will always remember all the good times we had together and your generosity, and Jane with Robert Povlich. May you soar with the Angels and hang with all our Max's Kansas City extended family including Mickey.

One week ago, Ric attended an event in my CityLoftArt Gallery, and as usual he was an active part of this nice event.
I just arrived in Europe for a short vacation, when I heard the terrible news and I still cannot believe what happened. Miami will no more be the same without Ric and his quiet, imposing and kind appearance - a friend is gone but continues in our memory...
My sincere thoughts are with his family.

We are deeply saddened, shocked and heartbroken to hear of Ricks passing. Rick was an important member of the "Fire Island Family" and a major part of the community and my childhood. He will be greatly missed. We send our sincere condolences to the family. Denise, Louis and family (Fire Island)

All my sincerest condolences go out to the extended Globus family. Rick was a good friend and loyal brother to Steven and Ron. His role as guardian of their late mother was truely admirable. His sound and practical advise will surely be missed. His support of the South Florida arts community was equally admirable. It's hard to imagine his two surviving brothers without him.

So much one of the greatest regular guy's who was an extremely philanthropic giving caring and always uplifting human. I wanted to learn so much more from Ric and am shocked in everyway! When I recently asked him to become a Make A Wish Granter. He said YES Where (FORGE) When What Size. He will be at the Make a Wish event in Spirit to watch the smiles and Wishes that his Artwork will Grant. He had plans for an Arts Rat Pack and He was in Everybody's Rat Pack. My Love and condolences to his family and Jake!
