I can't even find the words to describe the sadness Alan and I feel. He was such a wonderful man and a good friend. We had some great times together and will always cherish those memories. He loved you and the kids so much and just beamed when he spoke of his grandkids. I will always cherish the nickname Sparkles he gave me and you know he will always be my moose husband. How everyone confused our husbands I'll never know. Richie told me he would always have my back so you know Alan and I will always have yours and the kids. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again

Rich was my Local 71 Union Brother and friend. I am very sad that my brother has passed but I´m grateful of the legacy he has left. Rich was so smart and very giving to his Union Family in need. There were several times in a day that Rich´s phone would ring for help with an elevator question and he answered all calls. I know he loved his wife and kids because he always shared stories of family happenings with his Union Family. GOD has a master plan and Rich is surely in them. Rich was stoked about spending time with his grandsons and that was probably the greatest time he had during his retirement days. I say that for me too, because I am having a blast with my grandkids in my older days. To all of Rich´s family, friends and love ones, love up your family and friends and keep rich in your thoughts and prayers. GOD Bless you all.

Just a few words about my Uncle Richie. He is someone with whom I will always feel connected. For a short time in 1983 I lived with Maggie and Richie in their home in South Miami. I was a lost soul who needed some guidance and Uncle Richie lovingly provided this for me. He made me feel safe, loved and comfortable during a difficult time in my life. I have fond memories of early morning drives to drop me off at the local high school so I wouldn´t have to deal with taking a bus and many patient tutoring sessions to help me with Math homework. Uncle Richie was always calm and patient and his soothing voice always made me feel safe. Thank you for being such a special human being. You will be missed.

Every time I sat down to type something my eyes teared. So it´s taken awhile... I feel so many wonderful feelings for Rich, as a friend, a fabulous Father, an adoring husband and later a proud grandfather. I can´t find my box of pictures, but I´m sure there are some of us singing karaoke, no one does Baritone like Rich, I always loved hearing him. If you wanted to know anything from crossword puzzles to Tropic Hunt answers, he always knew them! Kind and always a smile for people. I have loving memories of Rich and love his family too. I will always smile when we talk about him and he will always be in our hearts. Rest In Peace my friend, we´ll all get together again and you can sing for us!

I will always remember Uncle Rich as a kind, easy-going and good natured person. Thank you for my first and (to this day) only ride on the back of a motorcycle. Rest In Peace.

We were so sorry to hear about Ritchie´s passing. He was such a sweet and wonderful human being. He always had a smile for everyone he came in contact with regardless of what he was going through himself. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family

I met Rich at the Moose Lodge where we spent many a night playing pool and having some great conversations. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. I remember him being quiet and low key , that is until he picked up a pool que and ran the table. Great guy, gonna be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Rich a few years at Otis, he was one the most intelligent persons I have ever known. Rich had a great sense of humor and was always happy to lend his technical support. Although I only spoke to him once a year or so since we both retired I miss him already.
