Pastor Miller had a profound effect on our marriage and on our lives. I was a student of his at SW Institue of Biblical Studies and also attended church in Miami while he was pastor. He gave me many great tips on marriage that have benefited our marriage of 35 years.

I have taught many lessons to my men's sunday school class that I learned from Pastor Miller.

There is no way that I can explain in words the impact that Pastor and Mrs. Miller had on our lives. He was a great mentor to many people.
He not only talked the talk, but walked the walk!

Pastor Miller led me to the Lord in 1981 and I had the privilege to learn from him at SWCC for a few years. Not only did he teach me a love for God and the Scriptures, he also taught me a love for God's chosen people. I will always remember you. To Mrs. Miller and his children, thank you for sharing so much of him with us. I hope knowing the influence he had on so many will in some small way lessen your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I don't know where to begin. Pastor Miller was my pastor for many many years. There was no one more kind and gentle than this man. He loved to share the gospel, in particular prophecy. Pastor Miller impacted my spriritual life in many ways; but above all was a model for me in my marriage. Pastor and Lorraine loved each other so dearly, I'll never forget that. Part of me is rejoicing in his passing because I can't imagine anyway enjoying more to meet with his Saviour. What a reunion that must have been when Pastor Miller opened his eyes on the 'other side'. I can't help but smile. Thank you, Lord, for allowing this wonderful man to have been so effective in my life and the life of my daughter, Susie Cannon. I can't wait to see Pastor again! Hallelujah! Rev. Miller will always be remembered by me as a "true man of God". He was the best principle FCS ever had and also such an amazing pastor of Southwest Community Church. He will be missed by all those that loved him.
Lorraine, Steve, Roger and Bobby may you find comfort in the Lord in this time of loss. You will be in my prayers.

Pastor Miller had an impact on my life, and the life of my family. As
I watch the faithfulness in my children, to the Lord, and the love
of the Lord, that they teach their children, I see many ways that they
are using the things they learned, at an early age, from Pastor.
Matthew is so much like Pastor Miller. He is always giving out tracs, and witnessing to anyone that will listen. I Praise the Lord that Pastor Miller touched our lives. We are thankful for Mom Miller too. We love you!, Love, Luanne & Bob Recicar

I am so thankful that Bob was instrumental in my father (Julian Langseth) committing his life to the Lord during WWII. Bob's walk with the Lord has been continuous and faithful. What a testimony! Our prayers are with you, Lorraine.

What can be said about Pastor Miller, Lorraine and family? While I was attending Florida Bible College they opened their home to me when I got homesick. Roger and Bob were like brothers to me. I was exposed to an example of a Pastors home first hand and Loved it. To the Family, You all come into my mind regularly with the positive experiences I had at your home in Miami. I pray that God will put his loving arms around you at this time of lost. I am assured that Pastor Bob is preparing a place for you and all of us who love him for being him.
All my Love and Big Hugs to you all.

Dear Lorraine,
I just found out the news today. I can't tell you how much my heart is hurting because i never got to say goodbye. And to think that I was celebrating my birthday that day. But knowing him, I know thats the way he would have wanted it. For us to celebrate his reunion with the Lord. And not 2 days ago I was talking about you guys and how much you both meant to me, and how beautiful you both were with others and each other, and how much I missed you guys and wanted to get into contact with you. Looking back, I think, or I want to think, that maybe he came to say goodbye and thats why you both popped in my head. I tell everyone that you both were my adoptive grandparents, and I'm so sorry it took so long for me to try to get into contact with you. But I know Mr.Miller couldn't be happier right now, and that makes me very happy, and I know we will see each other again and rejoice. i love you very much, and I cant wait to see you again.
Love always and forever,
Michele

Rev. Miller was a mentor to whom I looked up as a Bible teacher and a man of God. It was a privilege to have a small part of his ministry in teaching at the Bible Institute that he started. He had a love for the Lord and for people and demonstrated a Christ-like faithfulness are he ran the entire course that was set before him.

Rev. Miller lead me to Christ in 1970 when I was a young student at FCS. Ultimately my entire family became Christians because of his direct influence. My mother (Barbara Guntermann) worked as Rev. Miller's secretary in the early 70's. The lives of my family, and ultimately my extended family, have been directly impacted by the life of this one man. He had a deep love for Jesus and an intense desire to share His love.

God bless you Lorraine, Bobby, Steve, Rodger and your families as you deal with this loss. I know that you are comforted by the knowledge that your husband and father is now in perfect peace and that he lead the life of a faithful servant, a life that we would all hope to live.

Dear Lorraine,

May God bless you with Pastor Miller's home going. I am certain that our Lord and Savior has already said: “Well done good and faithful servant”.

I can truly say I had never met anyone who had such a passion for the Lord and a passion for people to come to Christ as Pastor Miller had. I recall with great fondness the wonderful Christ centered spirit of Southwest Community Church when Jill and I attended from the mid 70s to the mid 80s. Through Christ, Pastor Miller”s leadership example and my discipleship under him provided me with a great foundation, of which I am truly grateful.

While we know that Pastor Miller is now with Jesus, it is still difficult for those left behind. Lorraine, you have been a wonderful part of his ministry and you both gave Jill and I great encouragement in the early years of our 34 year marriage. (He married us as you will recall.) Once again Lorraine, may God’s Spirit comfort you in this time.

Grace and peace,

Brent Andersen

Pastor Miller was the principil at FCS when I started attending in 1969. He was a very good man. He taught me good Christian values and led my mom and dad to the Lord as well. He also baptised me, my mom and my dad in the old pool near South West Community Church. He will be well missed. But the Lord hasa great steward with him today. God bless his family. Ellen Lee

My deepest sympathy and prayers to all the Miller family. Rev. Miller was our pastor in Miami when I was a teenager. He baptized my father, Dick King, and ministered to him daily when he was in the hospital dying of cancer. His teaching and Godly walk were an inspiration and encouragement to our family. There is so much I could say but I will just say "Thanks" for a life lived so faithfully for the Lord. Our prayers are with the family for the loss but also for the joy in God's promises and the knowledge that this is a temporary separation for those of us who know Jesus personally. Pastor Bob is already at home and waiting for the rest of us.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
