SHAPIRO, RUTH BROWN, 97, of Aventura, and formerly of Miami Beach and Woonsocket, RI, passed away peacefully on July 27. She was the adored wife of Judge Herbert Shapiro (predeceased), loving aunt to Joy May and others, and great aunt and godmother to many. Ruth lived her life to the fullest. She was always the life of the party and loved by all who knew her. She was a member of both Temple Emanuel, where she served as past Sisterhood president, and Temple Beth Sholom, where she was recently honored for her longstanding membership of more than 50 years. She had a love for Israel. The family thanks Dr. Neil Schneider for his incredible care throughout the years.
