Shirley worked with me at Speak Out/Lewison-Singer. She was bright, friendly, dedicated, & hard working, a truly wonderful person. May she rest in peace...
With love & fond memories, Rita

Dear Shirley and all the many members of her wonderful family,
I hope it is okay to use this space to once again honor the life of Shirley whose full smiles near the very last day of her life made all of us glimmer with warmth. A very special word of praise to Barbara, her beloved daughter, who exemplifed gracefulness and brilliant humor in moments that survived the sadness and fatigue. Thank you Michael for a tribute to your mother at her funeral yesterday in the beautiful, "shingled" poetry you wept through and read. How moving to feel your heart and the hearts of everyone in the Chapel. We are all with you.
May all of Shirley's family be full of tremendous peace in the years to come. How eternally grateful I am to have been part of your infinitely loving family.
With great love,
Chris Mrazik

I met you 30 years ago through Rita and Lenny. You trusted me to work on your taxes and to be your financial adviser. You taught me how to get wine out of carpeting without leaving a stain which you learned from "Mr. Roth". I will miss your friendship. David
