Stanford Kane Obituary

KANE, STANFORD E., D.D.S., loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 14. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Stan spent his adult life after his Naval service in Miami, Florida, where he and his beloved Marian raised four exceptional sons, Andrew (Claudia), Jeffrey (Julie), Frederick (Michelle) and Jonathan (Randi). He will be remembered for his great love of his family and friends, his loves of golf, the Shore and dentistry, and his uncanny ability to talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. In addition to Marian and his children, Stan is survived by nine wonderful grandchildren, Samuel, Bailey, Jesse, Alexander, Jonah, Stevie, Sophie, Annie and Sydney Kane, as well as his brother Donald and sister Ellen. Services will be held at 12:30 on Monday, January 15 at Temple Beth Sholom, 4144 Chase Avenue, Miami Beach, followed by burial at Lakeside Memorial Park. Shiva will follow at Williams Island, 3000 Building. The family asks that any donations in Stan's memory be directed either to JAFCO or to the Susan G. Komen fund.
