Stephen Brosky Obituary

BROSKY, JR., STEPHEN A., 48 of Fort Lauderdale passed away September 13, at home. A Fort Lauderdale resident for the past 26 years, he was Chief Scientist for the Concurrent Corporation. Stephen was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania August 19, 1958 and graduated with honors from William Allen High School in 1976, and the University of Pittsburgh in 1980 with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. He was recruited by Harris Computers in Ft. Lauderdale; which was later bought by Concurrent Corporation. He is survived by his parents, Stephen Sr. and Nancy Brosky of Allentown, PA; his brothers, Mark (Patty) of Coplay, PA, Michael (Denise) of Alburtis, PA; his sister, Pamela Brosky (Suzanne Zaccaria), of Ft. Lauderdale; nieces, Lauren, Megan, Alexandra, Hanna, Rebekah; and nephew, Kevin and many loving relatives and friends. Stephen was a loving son, friend, brother, uncle, cousin and devoted co-worker that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Donations in his memory are suggested to ; National Resources Defense Council (NRDC.org) in his memory. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00PM Tuesday, September 19, at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 718 S. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, where family will receive friends from 5:00pm until service time.
