Clyde Williams Obituary

Clyde Mitchell Williams, age 74, died at his Klamath Falls residence on Saturday, July 28, 2007.
After private family services, cremation was performed by Klamath Cremation Service.
The youngest of nine children and the only son of Dora Jean (Husce) and John Henry Williams, Clyde was born on May 8, 1933, in Groesbeck, Texas.
In 1950, he enlisted in the Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. During this time, he became a cook and baker. He transferred to the Army in 1994 and served over 20 years as an Army mess sergeant.
He met and married Evelyn Joann Smith in Colorado. The couple lived all over the world and raised their family on numerous Army bases. He retired in 1973 and the couple made their homes in Colorado, Texas, and Arizona.
After the death of his beloved wife, he came to Klamath Falls to be with his daughter.
He was an excellent cook, but also loved fishing and hunting and being in the out-of-doors. He also enjoyed riding in his truck, watching John Wayne westerns and listening to country music.
Survivors include his children Jeanne Pike of Klamath Falls, Cathy Malone and her husband Kyle of Vancouver, Wash., and a son Charles of Colorado Springs, Colo. He will be missed by his grandchildren Brandy Malone, Charles and Mary Jane Malone, Joshua Smith, Melody Smith, Scott Taylor Pike Jr., Charity Boone and Jack Boone and great-grandchildren Ezekiel, Kyla, Salena, McKayla, Kensley, Savanah, Samantha and Matthew.
