Felix Frank Diaz

1946 - 2025

Felix ("Frank") Diaz, 78, left his earthly home on April 27, 2025, with his loved ones by his side. He was born in Susanville, Calif., to Felix and Yvonne Diaz on Nov. 21, 1946. Frank's presence and love will be greatly missed by many including his wife, Beverly; son DeLyle (Danielle); his brother John and sister Josie; three "bonus" sons Ben, Luke and Jared DuVal; and the nine grandchildren he shared with Beverly. Frank also had special relationships with the families of his first wife, Julianna, and with Beverly's family. They all will feel the void Frank has left in their hearts.

Frank's life was one of integrity and ambition. He grew up on his family's sheep ranch, where he had great responsibility and made many memories. After high school, he worked as a ranch hand and continued being an especially hard worker. Frank's next job was as a trapper for the government, which was quite an adventure. On Nov. 23, 1974, Frank married Julianna Tomera. She worked side by side with Frank, building a future in numerous locations before ending up in the Klamath Basin. Frank left his trapping job and he and Julie began raising cattle and farming. They began to acquire farm land and eventually farmed 1,000 acres. In 1978, their son DeLyle was born. He grew up helping his parents on the farm and then partnering with his parents.

After Julie's passing in 2012, Frank married Beverly in 2014. Frank taught Beverly to drive a tractor and she introduced him to travel. They had many unforgettable adventures together including a cruise through the Panama Canal and another cruise to Alaska. Especially memorable was the trip to New Zealand where they enjoyed time on a sheep ranch.

Frank always had time for a friend, always had a tender and generous heart, and always loved a good story. There is one less good man here with our family on Earth - but one more good man joined with our family in Heaven. Please let us know if you can join us to celebrate Frank's life on Saturday, May 24.
