William Warner Obituary

William Mark Warner, 56, died peacefully in his home in Klamath Falls, Ore., on Jan. 1, 2016. Born on March 23, 1959, in Salem, Ore., he was the son to Marion Clarence Warner and Wanda Lee Hendrickson (later Dole). He graduated in 1977 from Dayton High School and married Barbara Joan Jackson. In 1978, he joined the Oregon Air National Guard, where he specialized in communications. He accepted a position with United Telephone in White City as an installer and lineman. He worked there for many years and raised two daughters with his wife in Shady Cove. In 2000, William joined the U.S. Air Force and was based at Kingsley Air Field in Klamath Falls. In his military service, he toured in Italy and Saudi Arabia and even served briefly as an Individual Augmentee for Security. William lived life to the fullest and on his own terms. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1106. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, riding his motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by ex-wife and friend, Barbara Warner; daughters, Jennifer Jeanne Warner and Amanda Lee Warner-Thorpe and her husband Scott; brother, Steven Marion Warner and his wife Terry; sisters, Tracey Lee Arrellano and Pamela Jeanne Pearson and her husband Wallace; his aunts, Patsy Vest and Peggy Brook and her husband Redd; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces; and four grandchildren. A ceremony of honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at the local Moose Lodge. He will be laid to rest next to his mother's grave in the I.O.O.F. Eastwood Cemetery in Medford at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the families know that William would request people donate to the NRA as well as not vote for Hillary Clinton.

Bill was a true friend, I enjoyed chatting with him on a weekly basis before his retirement from the ANG. I sure enjoyed talking with him at the Christmas party. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Prayers and best of wishes to his family.

My Dearest Bill,
I miss you so! I miss our long conversations! I miss the sound of your voice and your laughter! I miss not seeing you for our lunch date the first week of January! But most of all Bill, I just miss YOU! Last we spoke, I did not know you would leave me so soon. I love you Man! Rest In Peace my friend - for now you truly can. See you on the other side.
