Dear Mottern Family,

I am sorry to learn of Hugh's passing. I was a member of Hugh's team when he worked in New Orleans.

He was a very talented technical professional who was patient, generous with his time, fair and supportive to those of us who reported reported to him.

I thoroughly enjoyed working for High and the example he set for how to balance one's work life with the pursuit of things that bring joy and meaning to your life.

I am sure that you all miss Hugh very, very much.

Such a wonderful man and friend! Many great memories for all of us Littleton neighbors! Fabulous cook! Loved when he was our chef! Also Hugh loved holidays especially Christmas and Halloween and Ky Derby parties with his mint juleps and our betting boards! A brilliant man with a heart of gold! Rest in peace our dear friend! Sending hugs and prayers to Ginny and Derrick and Julie!
