Amanda Nixon Wise, age 79, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1942, in Welch, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles Wesley Nixon and Effie Lockhart Nixon. She attended St. Luke United Methodist Church and had worked for United Way.
Left behind to cherish her memory are sons, Scott Wise and wife, Becky, and Mark Wise and wife, Diane; grandchildren, Bill Morsberger, Tabitha Morsberger, and Thomas Wise and wife, Marni; great-grandson, Zander Price; brothers, Bob Nixon and wife, Joyce, Jim Nixon and wife, Linda, and Paul Nixon and wife, Lois; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday May 3, 2022, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
