Billy "Bill" Eads

Billy "Bill" Eads, age 80, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born on June 28, 1940, in Benhams, Va., a son of the late Joseph A. and Stella Clark Eads. Bill was a salesman for PFG and was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. He was a member of Cedar Grove Church and was faithful reading his Bible which he just finished reading front to back. Bill loved spending time with his family, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed being with his golf family as well. He shot his age of 80 about a month ago at the Tri-Cities Golf Course. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Naomi Stewart, Lois Stewart, Ida Cullop and Iva Worley; and brothers, Austin Eads, Thurman Eads, Paul Eads and William Eads.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Audrey Lee Hess Eads; children, Marty Eads and wife, Terry, Rita Stewart and husband, Rick, Tim Eads and wife, April; grandchildren, Preston Stewart and wife, Amanda, Tyler Eads, Kodee Eads, Kristi Hutton and husband, David, Meghan Davis and husband, Mitchell, Lindsey Jenks and husband, David; six great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Denton; brother, R.D. Eads and wife, Emily; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held in the Mountain View Mausoleum with Preston Stewart officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Wade, Tom Roberts, Page Adams and Jerry Traylor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., or The Ronald McDonald House, 2144 Fairfax Ave, Nashville, TN 37212.
