Vivian Carol Stout, age 86, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Morning Pointe Assisted Living. She was born November 5, 1938, in West Jefferson, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Carrie Graybeal. Carol was a lifelong resident of Bristol, Tenn., before moving to Chattanooga to be close to family. She was a 1956 graduate of Holston Valley High School.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Noah "N.G. Stout. She was a wife, mother, teaching aide at Weavers Elementary and developed several personal business interests as well. Her primary calling in life was to work alongside Noah in his ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Carol made the lifelong sacrifice of being a pastor's wife and spent countless hours alongside Noah in being the hands and feet of Jesus in the Bristol and surrounding areas.

Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Leslie Cole and husband, Mark; son, Mike Stout and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Dustin Concannon, Greyson Stout, Savannah Smith and husband, Kaleb, Erin Bolinger and Matt and Megan Baubach; four great-grandchildren, Lennon, Thomas, Khalil, Mia and Haddon. Also, her sister, Sandy Bouton; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service for Mrs. Stout will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in the Glenwood Mausoleum with Rev. Mike Tyson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Samaritan's Purse for hurricane relief efforts in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, PO Box, 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
