ABINGDON, Va.
Donald E. Morrison, 55, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Donald was employed with UPS for 30 years and was a member of the Abingdon Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Sue Morrison; his mother-in-law, Julie Roark; and an infant grandson, Brandon Henderson.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Amy Morrison; his dad, Bobby D. Morrison; two daughters, Whitley (Seth) Leonard and Shelby Morrison; one son, Kade Morrison; one brother, Matthew (April) Morrison; one sister, Shawna (Lee) Butrym; three grandsons, Brayden Henderson, Knox Leonard, and Bryson Leonard; close friend and brother, Sam (Brandee) Brewer; special "aunt," Wanda (Ken) Stevens; father-in-law, Johnny Roark; brother-in-law, Matthew (Lisa) Roark; nieces, Cheyenne (Dalton)Martin, Abigail Roark, Natalie Morrison, and Elise Butrym; nephews, Cody (Lauren) Roark, Justin Roark, Cameron Roark, and Cooper Butrym; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Frost Funeral Home with Masonic Rites performed by Abingdon Lodge #48 with a visitation being held before the service from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at Frost Funeral Home.
