Janet E. Royston, age 85, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at The Waters of Bristol.

Janet was born on May 25, 1940, and was a proud graduate of Mountain City High School. She retired from Bristol Products after many years of dedicated service. Janet enjoyed going sightseeing, dining out, and had a special love for wearing beautiful jewelry.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vada Marie Dunn; her husband, Clarence "Dude" Royston; her sister, Virginia Ramsey; her maternal grandparents, Therman and Binner Dunn; and a nephew, Ronald Ramsey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé of 35 years, Bill Miller; her best friend, Helen Bledsoe; a niece, Terri Sproyles; and three nephews, Franklin Ramsey III, Timothy Ramsey, and Patrick Ramsey.

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Royston will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services, with Pastor Danny Depew officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m., prior to the service, in the chapel.

The graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services at 10 a.m. on Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of The Waters of Bristol-especially Tina and Ginny-for the love and care shown to Mrs. Royston during her illness.
