Olliemae Rose Abelseth

November 14, 1942 - June 7, 2022

Olliemae Rose Abelseth, 79, went home to be with Jesus, surrounded by her family on June 7, 2022.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth Little; sister, Marie Ferguson; brother, Allen Little; and great-grandson, Cameron Ray Abelseth, Jr.

She was a member of West Hills Baptist Church.

Rose was survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Samuel Ray Abelseth; son, Samuel Ray Abelseth Jr. and wife, Brenda; daughter, Susan Abelseth; brother, William Gene Little and wife, Trula; grandchildren, Michael Abelseth, Cameron Abelseth, and wife, Rachel, Ricky Gross and wife, Kayla, Nicholas Abelseth, and Savannah Abelseth; and great-grandchildren, Brycen, Elizabeth, Arabella, Adam, and Theodore.

The funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. The committal service and entombment will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at Mountain View Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to West Hills Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1769 HWY 11W, Bristol, TN 37620.
