Walter Eugene Farris age 92, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at his home in Belmont, Mississippi.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 22, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Wassum Valley Baptist Church, 349 Church Hill Road, Marion VA. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Charles Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Wassum Valley Cemetery with Military Rites rendered by the U.S. Army Funeral Honors Guard and Francis Marion VFW Post #4667.

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Genes passing and also Aunt Edith. I also apologize for not being able to be there to show my support for family. I never heard of anything until it's too late it seems. My heart is with you all and may God be with you now and always . I know that these two beautiful souls are having a great reunion and rejoicing with The Lord.
