ANN BOLES Obituary

ANN ELL (JONES) BOLES In Loving Memory of Ann Ell (Jones) Boles July 15, 1932 September 30, 2025 Ann Ell (Jones) Boles, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on July 15, 1932, in Beaver, Oklahoma, Ann was the cherished daughter of Charles E. Jones and Pauline D. (Fincher) Jones. She was raised on the family farm, where she developed a lifelong love for the land. Those early years instilled in her the values of hard work, resilience, and strong family bondsvalues that would guide her throughout her life. Ann graduated from Liberal High School in Liberal, Kansas, in 1950, and went on to pursue higher education at Colorado Woman's College in Denver, earning her degree in 1952. She continued her studies at the University of Colorado, where she graduated with a nursing degree in 1955. Ann dedicated her professional life to serving others as a nurse. Ann was known for her wit and spirit, which brought joy and laughter to those around her. She had a natural gift for storytelling and often delighted in sharing memories of her childhood on the farm, her nursing years, and the many travels she enjoyed with her beloved husband, Tom. Their adventures together were a source of lasting happiness and companionship. She is survived by her son, Charles Hunter Richmond of Denison, Texas; her daughter, Valerie Ann (Richmond) Fleeger and husband Matt of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Brandon Richmond and wife Christa, Kelly (Richmond) Crane and husband Jeff, Dalton Fleeger, Kaden Fleeger, Falon Fleeger, and Landon Fleeger; and her great-granddaughter, Charley Richmond. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Pauline D. (Fincher) Jones; her grandparents, Charles Walter Fincher and Ell Dean (Crawford) Fincher; and her husband, Tom Boles. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Midway Cemetery in Floris, Oklahoma. Ann will be laid to rest in the land of her birth, close to her roots and family heritage. Ann Ell Boles lived a life marked by service, love, and unshakable spirit. Her memory will be forever treasured by all who knew and loved her.
