BETTY SUE WINBURN SMITH Betty Sue Winburn Smith, 91 of Bells, TX, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Betty was born in Denison, Texas, on May 15, 1934, to Thomas C. Winburn and Lottie Elizabeth Glass Winburn. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Smith, Jr., son Stephen Glen Smith, 6 brothers, and 5 sisters. She is survived by 2 daughters, Cynthia D. Smith of Bells, TX, and Susan D. Smith Carroll of Bells, TX. Husband, Tony Carroll. 2 grandchildren,  Ashley Jordan Carroll McCloud, husband Michael of Tom Bean, TX.  Tyler Austin Smith Carroll, wife Amanda Nunley Carroll of Bells, TX.  6 great grandchildren: Delaine McCloud, Tristin Herndon, Aiden McCloud, Teague Carroll, Travis Carroll, Weston Herndon.  Sister, Dora Stainbrook of Lilburn, GA. Along with many nieces and nephews. Betty's love for the medical field placed her a volunteer at TMC in Denison.  She volunteered 10's of thousands of hours over more than 20 years of service. There was not a nurse or doctor she didn't befriend.  With her quick wit and humor, she was loved by all.  Betty will be deeply missed.  The family would like to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for the love and care given to Betty and her family.  Memorial service to follow at a later date.
