Jay Raskin Obituary

Jay Paul Raskin, age 59, entered into eternal lifeWednesday, January 4, 2017 at The Woodlands.

Mr. Raskin was born November 6, 1957 in Dallas, Texas the son of Meyer and Patsy (Hymer) Raskin. He graduated from Pottsboro High School in 1975. Jay worked as a nurse in Denison, Sherman, Terrell and Bonham Texas. He also read palms for nearly nine years for Cutter's nightclub in Denison. Jay was such a loving and caring person always putting others before himself. He never forgot a birthday. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Raskin leaves behind his family, niece, Julie Dryden and husband Donny of Denison, TX; two great nephews, Seth Michael and Liam Paul and aunt, Eleanor Leggett of Plano, TX. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, H. C. and Maxine Hymer, parents and sister, Sheryl Raskin.

Jay was cremated according to his wishes. There are no services planned at this time.
