Joseph Marsh Obituary

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Joseph Anthony Marsh, age 33, passed away in Oklahoma City, Okla. on April 5, 2014, at the OU Medical Center.

Joseph was born to Jerry Allen Marsh and Patricia Holt Marsh on November 11, 1980 in Dallas, Texas. Joseph was an excellent musician. He played bass in a Rock band, he was member of the First Baptist Church in Achille, Okla. He was employed by Indian Nation Wholesale Co. in Durant, Okla.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Marsh of Achille, his parents, Larry and Patricia Mead of Achille, his son Jaren Marsh of Achille, his sisters Sherry Winshittle and Mark of Grande Prairie, Texas, Marci Enoch and Jim of Grande Prairie, and Judy Mead of Hitchcock Texas, his brothers Kerry Fischer and Stacy of Hurst Texas, Carl Mead and Beverly of Durant, Okla. and Larry Mead Jr. of Durant.

He is survived by four aunts, Anna Mormile of Staten Island, N.Y., Dorothy Marsh of San Fransisco, Calif., Mariam Marsh of Hawaii, Ruth Faver of San Fransisco. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Jerry Allen Marsh.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 9 at 3:30 p.m at the Achille High School Auditorium. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at American Funeral Services in Colbert, Okla. Pastor Mark Gunnels will be officiating the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of American Funeral Services in Colbert.
