Lee Bowman Obituary
Lee Michael Bowman was born in Sherman, TX on July 24, 1975 to Mike Bowman and Glenna (Brown) Bowman. Lee Michael was a commercial construction company owner. He loved good old country and western music, especially Charlie Daniels Band. Lee Michael was a story teller, and it was often said he missed his calling as a comedian. He lived life on his terms and to the fullest every day. Most of all, he loved his little girl, Isabella. His love and pride for her knew no bounds.
He is survived by his daughter, Isabella Jewell Bowman; Father and stepmother, Mike and Toby Bowman of Bonham, TX; brother, Heath and wife Nikki Bowman of Alvarado, TX; sister, Brynane and husband Stephen Payne of Bonham, TX; stepsisters, Stephanie Nichols, Rachel Hill and husband Milton; stepbrothers, John Farris Jr. and wife Kayla, Josh Farris and wife Andrie; nephews and nieces, Kendall, Liam, Landry, Hunter, Noah, Ethan, Ryan, Spencer, Sidney, Skyler, Katlyn, Ashton, Avery, Brinlee, Riley, Angel, Destiny, Michael, Addison, Sapphire, Marie, Josh, Nicole, Mika, Caden, Dyson, Slayton, Holden, Grayson; aunts and uncles, Pam and Gary Hall, Jerry and Carolyn Robinson, Danny and Jane Bowman, Johnny and Brenda White, Shelia Underwood, Charles and Kathy Bowman, Brenda Magness, Don and Tammy Brown, Gary and Lauretta Hamilton; grandmother, Modena Brown and numerous cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Glenna Bowman.
Serving as pallbearers are Josh Morris, Cliff Askins, Andrew Hunter, Gary Redmon, Matt Richardson, Patrick Mulder, Matt Cowan, Rodney Stanford, Michael Chaney, Josh Odom, Jeremy Odom, Shane Avery, and Brandon Reynolds.
Family Visitation will start on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.

Wow! I don't know what to think. I am very sorry to this family for there loss. I had the honor to go on one date with this man in may before his passing, I guess.He was such a gentleman and I do not think I will ever be able to step back in the restaurant we went to. It was my very first time experiencing the restaurant with him and I probably will just loss it if I ever go back. I wish I would have had more time to get to know this man. The interaction I witness him have with his Bella was so wonderful. I always wanted a man like that with my children when I had them. I loved going to Riverhouse in New Braunfels to just see him with Bella. What a loss, but God is putting him to work now! Love Kira McAhren

We are saddened by the sudden loss of Michael. He was a daily customer at For Goodness Sake Natural Food store. He came in for his signature smoothie and healthy snacks. He had his own recipe for his signature smoothie and it was called the "Bowman Special"...(Half cup blueberries, half cup strawberries, 5 oz coconut water, 2 tbs coconut butter and 2 scoops of his Sun Warrior protein powder). Micheal spoke highly of his family, especially his daughter, Bella. He would bring her in the store and we could see the mutual adoration they had for each other. Bella would hang on his arm and say, "My daddy is so strong!" Michael's presence in the world was equally as powerful as his absence. Condolences to his family.
