Mary Gross Obituary
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Churchh, 2101 E. Melissa Rd, Melissa, Tx. with Robert Oglebys officiating. Arrangements are under the directionof Restlan Funeral Home, Dallas.
She is survived by daughters Melissa (Doug) Zadow of Melissa and Cheryl (Tim) Kacvinsky of Trophy Club; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings Keith McKenzie, Mike McKenzie, and Brenda McKenzie all of Rockingham, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Robert and Willora Oglesby Foundation.

There are simply no words to say how much I loved Hughlene. Mama couldn't have had more wonderful friends than Faye, Nora and Hughlene. I loved watching them all together, laughing, playing 42, laughing, telling stories on each other, laughing, pulling pranks on each other, laughing, going to church together, laughing, going to parties together, laughing, holding each other up in times of trouble, laughing and laughing and laughing. Above it all, I could pinpoint Hughlene's sweet crazy laugh above all. Her North Carolina drawl would just ring thru the air. Many, many, many times, we would sit and al talk together, but Hughlene was always the ring leader for possible trouble. When Hughlene got to Heaven, the laughter and sunlight meter went up multiple notches. My Mama and Daddy (Barbara and Jack) surely met her at the door and Mama surely squealed with delight and hugged Hughlene. Heaven's profit, our loss. To Cheryl and Lisa.... Thank you for sharing your mom when you didn't know you were sharing her. My life has been blessed beyond imagination for having Hughlene Gross in it. My parents would have me thank God for Hughlene's life and the impact she made on ours. My family and I are so sad for the loss you all feel, yet rejoice with you on Huglene's reward in Heaven.
