NANCY E. LARSON Nancy E. Larson, age 89, of Storm Lake, Iowa died July 31, 2025 at Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake. No services are planned. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. Nancy was born March 6, 1936, the daughter of George Frank and Florence Gabriel Reynolds. She was baptized in 1936 at the Presbyterian Church. Growing up, Nancy attended school at Storm Lake Public School. After graduating, she went on to attend Iowa State University. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in education and later earned her master's degree. Nancy married Lowell Vernon Larson in Storm Lake. They were blessed with two adopted children: Bethany Ann in 1965 and Rebecca Sue in 1968. Faith was the cornerstone of Nancy's life, and she was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian church. She was also a member of P.E.O. and The Rainbow Girls. Nancy became a preschool teacher while living in Texas, and she adored her students. She loved cooking and was a talented seamstress, making costumes for the local community theatre. Nancy also enjoyed reading newspapers and books. In the warmer months, you could find Nancy boating and swimming. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish the memory of Nancy include her husband, Lowell Vernon Larson; children: Rebecca (Mark) Wright of Sherman, Texas; Bethany (David Walker) Larson of Storm Lake, Iowa; grandchildren: Garrett Wright of Sherman, Texas; Dalton (Elizabeth) Walker of Storm Lake, Iowa; Beatrice Walker of Storm Lake, Iowa; great-grandchildren: Tobias and Marleigh Walker of Sherman, Texas; extended family and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Reynolds.
