Joshua Hudson Obituary

Joshua Lydell Hudson, 40, of Paducah, previously of Princeton, passed away on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022.

Joshua was born on June 24, 1982, in Caldwell County to Lydell Hudson and Kimberly (Sam) Gillespie Kickasola. Joshua was an officer with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football. Joshua loved spending time with his children and family and was a member of Kuttawa First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by his wife, Samantha "Sammie Jo" Duncan Hudson; two sons, Jeremiah Grant Hudson and Luke Joshua Hudson; "adopted" son, Min Yu; two daughters, Rylee Kate Hudson and Madelyn Jolee Hudson; one sister, Kris-Tina Dye; and paternal grandmother, Linda Hudson.

Joshua is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Hudson; and maternal grandparents, Brenda Watkins and Earl Gillespie.

Services were held Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at Morgan's Funeral Home. Dr. Jody Duncan officiated. Burial followed in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.
