Beulabel Watkins Obituary
Beulabel Elliott Ray Watkins
Beulabel was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lena Elliott, of Chanute, KS; a brother, Roger E. Elliott, Chanute, KS; husbands, Jesse S. Ray, Portland, OR and Joseph Watkins, Portland, OR.
She is survived by two nieces, Marilyn Matlock, Bremerton, WA and Linda Carder, Everett, WA; two nephews, Roger L. Elliott, Chanute, KS and Marvin L. Elliott, Silverdale, WA; and several great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial in honor of Beulabel will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Garden Court Retirement Community, 520 112th Street SW, Everett, WA where Beulabel had been a resident for the past three years. Following the memorial at Garden Court the family will receive friends at Solie Funeral Home, 3301 Colby, Everett, WA from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mount Scott Funeral Home, Mount Scott Blvd, Happy Valley, OR. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 11801 SE Mount Scott Blvd., Happy Valley, OR.
Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County Foundation, 2731 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, WA.
Arrangements are under the care of Solie Funeral Home, Everett, WA.

Sister Beulabel Watkins and Pastor Joseph Watkins were our spiritual parents and guides and touched our lives after marrying us, immensely. We are saddened by this loss but happy that they are both with the Lord.

May the Lord bless the dear ones of Beulabel and her and Joe's extended family with much comfort and the knowledge that many friends stand with you as you experience this loss. We have been so blessed by this precious sister in the Lord and our lives richer for having known her. What a true champion of the faith and encourager of the others in ministry she was. She will be sorely missed.
