Brad Marsh Obituary

Bradley "Brad" Jay Marsh passed away suddenly in his Twisp home on March 18, 2025.

Brad was born on November 11, 1957, in Everett, Washington, to Clarence Garnett Marsh and Katherine Louise Marsh. The baby of the family, he grew up alongside his four siblings.

Brad was a lifelong resident of Marysville, WA, where he graduated from Marysville Pilchuck High School in 1976.

After high school he traveled Europe for a year, spent several years at Weyerhaeuser until he came to work at Scott Paper/ Kimberly Clark until his retirement in 2012.

For many years, Brad was a devoted caregiver to his mother until her passing in 2023. Following this, he built his sanctuary in Twisp, Washington, where he became a cherished local at the Branding Iron, forming a close-knit community of friends.

Brad is survived by his loving daughters, Amanda (Randy) Countryman and Caitlin (Matt) McLemore; his beloved grandchildren, Mason Marsh, Carson and Landon Countryman, and Max and Kenzie McLemore; siblings, Shary (John) Meehan, Patty Nobach, Penny Greaves and Dave (Kathy) Marsh; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers-in-law, Rick Greaves and Ron Nobach.

A lifelong outdoorsman and avid hunter, Brad felt at home in nature. Whether around a campfire with a drink in hand and a story to share or exploring the wilderness, he embraced life with humor and adventure. He loved all Washington sports teams, from the Huskies, to the Mariners and the Seattle Seahawks and never missed watching a game.

Brad will be remembered for his sharp wit, infectious laugh, sense of humor and deep love for the outdoors. He made friends wherever he went and his memory will live on in the stories shared by those who loved him and sat on the barstool next to him.

Celebration of life to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send his daughters stories and photos of Brad to [email protected]

I met Brad cruising Colby when we were both 17 yes old. He drove a baby blue van always hanging out of the window with the biggest smile on his face. He was so handsome ! Great sense of humor. RIP Brad you will be missed for sure.
