I am very sad to hear of this news, today, March 7th. Somehow, I missed news of this in time to attend his funeral, for which I am also very sad. Brian was a wonderful colleague who took his profession seriously. I had the privilege of relieving him 2 Saturdays a month when he had an "impossible" 6 day per week lease with Pearle at the Everett Mall. I filled in for him two Saturdays a month, plus the occasional Friday, starting in the year 2000, and continued to do so until about the year 2009 when he left Pearle and started his own practice. He was busy raising two young children at the time, and I was glad to help him have more time with his kids, whom he adored. After 2009, I often sat next to him at continuing ed seminars and we would catch up. Brian was a colleague and friend of the highest order. I will miss him very much.

I am very sad to hear Dr Coe passed. He was a very kind man. Very caring when he explained what he was doing to help me keep my sight. He will be missed.

I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Coe's passing. He was my eye doctor, trusted and very competent. We would chat during appointments about each other's lives, so he felt more like a friend I looked forward to seeing once a year. What a kind man. My heart goes out to his family. He will be greatly missed.
