This has been a horrific lose for M.C.C. complex where hundreds of staff held a great deal of respect and trust for their own safety under Lt. Bruce Ramsey's leadership. The shock of this loss will reverberate for an untold amount of time "on the hill''. GOD BLESS Kelly, their 2 children, his mom, and extended family (some also as staff at M.C.C.). All our prayers, thoughts, and support are with Bruces beloved family. The town of Monroe, M.C.C.staff, and the town of Sultan, who knew this icon of a man are grieving this senseless loss! God Blessed us with the time Bruce was with all of us. I'll never forget the funny way he bellowed a laugh, or when we locked horns, or when he softly said, ' we will put in a proposal to adjust policy, and hope it is considered, this time". Good By, Sir....I know your keeping a eye out, you always had our backs. Respectfully, Retired C/O D. Willeiksen

Dear Kelly, Michael, Jennifer, extended family and friends. Shock was our first reaction, totally disbelief, then tears. It's so hard to even try to put in to words how deep our sorrow is for you all. Time does heal, but I don't think you ever quit questioning the why....Bruce was just such a wonderful father, family man. We will truly miss seeing his face at the dock fishing weekend at Wapato...If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to call on us.

LT Ramsey was a man of his word, his fairness preceded him and his ability to look beyond the bars was what made him a friend and trusted officer with so many at WSR.
