Carol graduated from Everett High School with the class of 1955. In her senior year she married John Waddell, her husband of 57 years.
John, Carol, and son, John Jr. "Rece" and daughter, Bonnee, settled in Mukilteo, Washington.
Most important to Carol was family, her four grandsons, Christmas Eve, and her Boston Red Sox.
Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnee Roth in 2000.
Carol is survived by husband, John; son, Rece (Deborah); grandsons, Nickolas, Anthony and Gabriel Waddell, of Lynnwood, WA, and Jordan Roth; sister, Dorthy Cecil; brother, Edward Hopkins; sister-in-law, Sharon (John) Freeman; best friend, Patty Drew; and "sister by choice", Diane Hopkins.

Dear Uncle John, Rece and all of Carol's wonderful family and close friends, Ed, Nick and I are so sorry for your loss. Aunt Carol was such a wonderful lady who always welcomed us into her home with kind words and her happy smile. We will always remember Aunt Carol specially for making our wedding cake 27 years ago. It was a work of art that she selflessly created so beautifully. You will be in our thoughts in this difficult time.
Love,
Betsy, Ed, and Nick Pratt

I am so sorry to hear about Carol. I will always treasure the cards she sent me in Montana keeping me updated on how the keno machines were doing. I have fond memories of the time we spent together. She was a wonderful lady.
